Before becoming a classroom teacher I did a visual art degree and have enjoyed bringing my love of art into the classroom. These days my passion is in literacy. For the past five years, I have been a Reading Recovery teacher.

My husband and I live in Kawakawa Bay with our two sons and spend lots of time with our large extended family. We enjoy fishing, the beach, and holidaying at Tutukaka.
