Te Kura o te Wairoa
Welcome to Clevedon School | Te Kura o te Wairoa, proudly steeped in more than 150 years of history and the heart of our community. We are a busy primary school catering to children from years 1-8, nestled in a picturesque country setting at the foothills of Pā Nīkau, just 15km from Manukau City. We are passionate about our people, our traditions and unique semi-rural character.
Clevedon School is a vibrant learning community in the fullest sense. Our school values Kia Kaha, Kia Atawhai and Kia Whakapono underpin all we do and we encourage our learners, both students and adults, to practise and develop these in everything.
There is a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy as well as opportunities for specialisation. A special feature of our school calendar and a highlight for all is Agriculture Day where our unique rural character is celebrated and lifelong memories are made.
We are a dynamic school and students are presented with a variety of opportunities in sports, the arts, education outside the classroom and other special events throughout the school year. We are fortunate to have a highly competent, talented staff, who value developing strong relationships with children and whānau alike.
At Clevedon School, we're not just preparing students for the future; we're shaping 21st-century lifelong learners.
